A New Day

We wake up from a previous day left astray,

hoping that this day will bring a day before my dreams become true, before I hope that this new day will be a great day, a day of piece and tranquility, joy and happiness, a day were my people can eat and think before the next day, just because, we don’t know what the next day will bring.

But as I wake up to this glorious world, to a beautiful sunshine, where birds begin the day with their beautiful chirps, and the ocean embraces us with these wavering highs, my soul becomes in this place where a new day is brought as a gift, as a cry of rejoice, where the breeze caresses my body with this serene temperament telling me that everything is going to be ok.

That this day is a day. Until a new one comes by.
